I was an engineer for 6 years before I decided teaching was where I needed to be. I taught 7th-12th grade math for 10 years, EAST (a STEM course) for 7 years, and computer science for 5 years. I also sponsored an Engineering Club that won the Ten80 STEM National Championship in 2011.  I currently help provide after-school STEM programs for schools and home-schooled children.  I have been providing professional development since 2008 and love sharing what I have learned. I am married and have one daughter and son-in-law and 2 granddaughters.  I love to travel and love NASCAR.
