Ivan Alba is an international education and leadership consultant. He taught elementary school and high school before becoming a trainer of teachers and principals. Having worked in education for the past 25 years, he uses his expertise to change lives and empower teachers, students, and families to be lifelong learners. He holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University.

As a Mathematics and Leadership Consultant, Ivan is focused on current best practices in mathematics education. He has led the development of the state, multi-district, and school-level projects to support struggling students in math. Ivan's enthusiastic facilitation style inspires all to learn that "Math Makes Sense" and honestly believe that "Everyone will be Good at Math." Ivan currently works with teachers, principals, and parents worldwide and teaches all of these vital strategies in Spanish and English.

Beyond his work in mathematics, he facilitates visioning and empowers whole-school leadership structures focused on putting students first. Ivan has worked with Interactions 4 Peace in America, Africa, and the Philippines, helping teachers and students build peaceful and constructive environments throughout their communities.

Ivan currently works with teachers, principals, and parents worldwide and teaches all of these vital strategies in Spanish and English. In addition, he and his wife Elena have raised two daughters who, with them, dedicate their time to building a better world around them day after day.
