Martin ("Flash") holds a BA, MA, and PhD in Math from Brandeis. He has taught calculus and preparation for calculus for more than 40 years-Bard College (6 yrs)-Humboldt State Univ(33 yrs). He has given presentations around the US and Internationally, recently at the
2023 ArizMATYC Conference. He was a member for many years of the MAA committee on Calculus Reform. For fun he plays guitar, piano and cello.
