I've been teaching math in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2001. In that time, I have focused primarily on working with underrepresented students, especially students with learning disabilities, Black and Brown students, and LGBTQ+ students. I strive to help them feel welcome in my classroom as well as the larger mathematics community, and hope they will learn to love math.
